welcome to ethan witt photography

It all started when…
Located in the hills of Appalachia, I grew up in a small rural community. With age, I’ve gained a new appreciation for my home state of West Virginia and everything she offers. I’m currently local to Huntington-Charleston area but always available for in and out of state travel. After finishing my degree in Visual Art at Marshall University I decided to pursue photography full time and began photographing weddings, maternities, and my personal favorite, portraits. My style has constantly been evolving through the years and have really found a home in portrait and wedding photography. Cat dad, Jeeper, avid hammocker, coffee addict (iced or hot), ENFP, Virgo Sun, HGTV certified interior designer, anything else? Just ask!
Where I’m Located: Huntington, WV but open to travel
What I Photograph: Portraits, Headshots, Weddings, Engagements, Families, E-Commerce, inquire for more
My style: if Vogue and a fairytale had a baby
How does this all work? Contact me to book, we’ll choose a date, collect the retainer, discuss the vision, location, outfits, and styling. On the day of the session we’ll ease into things with a couple standard poses, then we’ll catch some action shots, i.e., couples walking, kids playing, walking, laughing etc. You’ll receive a blended gallery of posed traditional photos and high energy, soulful photos.
How long do my photos take? Completed galleries range 4-6 weeks for completion, while weddings can take up to 18 weeks depending on product
Are they all digital or will there be prints too? Galleries include digitals of the photographs in web size and high resolution. Feel free to place any orders after your session through the online store! I can help you decide on prints, sizes, wall art, and albums!
Do I choose the photographs for the gallery? The photographer will choose the final images to include in the gallery. I use my best judgement to only include photographs that are not only technically correct, but showcase emotion.
